An Open Letter to the South Florida LGBT Community:

The International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association’s 28th Annual Global Convention, held last month in Fort Lauderdale, was a milestone for our association. The event attracted the most delegates (more than 500) and the greatest participation in terms of global representation (35 countries/territories) in our history. It’s a testament to this great destination, the Greater Fort Lauderdale CVB, and the support of our local leaders, businesses, media outlets and community members that it was such a resounding success.

We owe a special thank you to the RBC and South Florida’s vibrant LGBT community for making our Consumer Trade Show in Wilton Manors the best-attended public event ever held during one of our conventions. IGLTA is proud to have its headquarters here in Fort Lauderdale.

Thank you for your support and contributions to a great convention!

Sincerely,

John Tanzella
IGLTA President/CEO
