RuPaul-Group-Feb-27-2013Week five of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5 featured what has affectionately become known as Scott’s favorite challenge (ok, only in my mind), the Snatch Game. The Gurls (yes I spelled it like that on purpose ala Ru) brought out some amazing characters. Kudos goes to Coco for capturing not only Janet Jacksons look, but her voice as well. Week five of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5 featured what has affectionately become known as Scott’s favorite challenge (ok, only in my mind), the Snatch Game. The Gurls (yes I spelled it like that on purpose ala Ru) brought out some amazing characters. Kudos goes to Coco for capturing not only Janet Jacksons look, but her voice as well. I also have to point out Roxxxy Andrews for her Tamar Braxton Impersonation. However, a big congrats goes to Jinx Monsoon for winning the challenge with her Little Edie impersonation, it was pure  genius! Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to the Puerto Rican princess, Lineysha Sparx, but it was a pleasure sitting down and chatting with her.

At what age did female impersonation become an interest & how did you pick your name?

When I was 19 I began doing shows and pageants.  My name came from a combination of 2 names from my classmates when I was in High School.

How many times did you apply to be on RPDR and how did it feel when you found out you got chosen?

I applied for it twice; Once in season 4 and then in season 5 I was chosen. I was very happy and excited when I was chosen as it was one of my dreams coming true. I tried my best to improve my English skills before taping.

Tell me about your RuPaul’s Drag Race experience?

It was amazing, but before the show I had other visions of what the show would be like. My goal was to be the eye candy in the show. I am a costume designer out of the show and I wish I would have portrayed more extravagance then just pretty.

Who do you want to win?

I have my favorite but I don’t want to say anything.

Tell me about the man behind Lineysha?

Lineysha-SparxAndy is very quiet, but is very intelligent, creative and tries to accomplish all the goals he sets for himself. I want to make all my dreams come true as I want my life to be lovely.

Tell me something people would be surprised to know about you.

I think that people would be surprised to know that as a boy I am very quiet.

What’s ahead for Lineysha?

I want to do shows and travel all over the country. I am open for what comes my way and I am excited about it. Maybe I will be the next Top Model.
