For 15 years legendary DJs have graced the turntables of Score Nightclub on Lincoln Road, providing locals and out of towners with an incredible night of music, cocktails, and one of the best sound and lighting systems South Beach has to offer. Now, Luis Morera and Billy Kemp, the people behind one of the world’s most popular nightclubs will be amping things up by providing harder beats, in a new and better space for more fast-paced nights and a bigger dance floor that will only make the nightlife in SoBe that much stronger!

score 2On Friday, October 4, 2013, Score Bar will officially open at its new location, 1437 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach. The owners of Score are transforming the two spaces, more recently known as Suite and Snatch but also known as the legendary Liquid Nightclub, into two unique and completely separate venues:

Score Bar will call the downstairs space home, reinvigorating Score’s most infamous dance parties, including Pop Thursdays and Filthy Gorgeous Fridays, providing Score’s customers with the same incredible DJs paired with a fantastic lighting and sound system. The new Score will also feature a brand new cocktail menu, showcasing the best mixology South Beach has to offer.

score 8Upstairs the same owners of Score are opening a brand new nightclub and event venue, suggestively titled TRADE. The space will feature a custom sound system consisting of EAW speakers and subwoofers, powered by Powersoft K Series amplifiers and a brand new state-of-the-art lighting system that is guaranteed to immerse revelers in a full sensory dance experience. As one of the largest dance venues in SoBe, some of the biggest names in the Electronic Dance Music, otherwise known as EDM, industry, including DJs Cajmere, Oscar G, and Thugf–ker, will present their talents.

“After 15 years, it was time to change things up a bit and show the world the next evolution of Score,” score 3says Score partner Luis Morera. “The new Score Bar will set a new standard for the people who have been coming to Score for years, while also showcasing the best music, talent, sound, lighting, and entertainment to the rest of the world. We could not be more excited!”

Score Bar will officially inaugurate its new home on Friday, October 4th with a private friends and family event in Score Bar, followed by the official launch party on Friday, October 11th. The night will be presented by one of Score’s hottest and longest running Friday night party, Filthy Gorgeous, which will continue to be hosted by the infamous Tony Ferro and the Penny Back Boyz.

score 5“We felt that the people who love and appreciate EDM (Electronic Dance Music) really needed a space to call their own,” says TRADE partner, Billy Kemp. “TRADE will provide EDM DJs to really come in showcase their talent in a way that will set TRADE apart from any other club in Miami Beach. And the fact that the space is so versatile, makes it a great place for private events such as fashion shows, product launches, and parties.”

TRADE Nightclub will also host its official grand opening on Friday, October 11th with its brand new party, Shoot the Freak. The launch party for Shoot the Freak in TRADE Nightclub will be hosted by STF and PLOT and feature high energy dance beats by Thugf–ker and Alejandro Sab with live performances by Kink from the Crème Organization.
