The Artists and Writers Group, Inc. is presenting a month-long series of cultural events about Tampa titled “The Cuban Sandwich Show,” at numerous venues in Tampa, throughout June. I came across this official US Drag Registry at Millionhugs.com/officialusregistry.html and I decided to look up the over 100 people on Facebook. The majority of the queens from GaYBOR all had contact emails, but the rest did not. Last night there were five drag shows in GaYBOR. Hmm. . . just sayin’.

What an exciting find for Tampa History! The plans from architect M. Leo Elliott were discovered in a attic in Tampa! There were over 500 sets of plans for famous buildings all over Tampa including The Ritz Ybor, Tampa City Hall and more.
YAA presentation of “Essence of Ybor”
On a beautiful night “Ybor Square” was filled with art, artists and fans of art. This juried fine arts show, “Essence of Ybor,” featured 21 artists from the Tampa Bay area. There was live music by several local groups. Toss in a bar and good food from The Spaghetti Warehouse and it was an enjoyable night. Yborart.org
