Thursday August 29

Georgie’s Alibi in St. Petersburg is having their 13th anniversary party starting at 9 p.m. with free food, giveaways, prizes, and a great anniversary show hosted by Kori Stevens and Tiffany T McCray.

The HI-NRG music format plays weekly at The Honey Pot in Tampa with Rated R Thursdays. Resident DJs Kid-Unot, Mike Holmes and Traphouse Tracy will be spinning all night. Doors open at 10 p.m.

Friday August 30

whcf fridayjustcircFlorida Entertainment Group, Chris Coleman Enterprises and JustCircuit.com have partnered together to bring world-famous DJs to Ybor City, the first of which, DJ Hector Fonseca, will be playing for an excited audience at Steam Fridays at The Honey Pot. Doors open at 9 p.m.

At Throb in Sarasota, their Labor Day weekend festivities kick off with K. Michelle live in concert. You may recognize K. Michelle from VH1’s TV series Love and Hip-Hop. Tickets are $25 at the door and it is an 18+ affair. Doors open at 9 p.m.

Barrel 87 in Sarasota is going “Frathouse!” on Fabulous Fridays. Whether you’re attending college now or that was in the past for you, represent your college or fraternity and get a special deal on some beer (inquire with your bartender!). Hosted by Lady Liemont.

Fire breathers, stilt walkers, food vendors, and much more are on offer as Parliament House in Orlando kicks off their Labor Day festivities with Freakiest Friday. Jade Jolie and Alexis Mateo, both Florida alumni of RuPaul’s Drag Race, will be performing with the Footlight Players at 10 and 12.

Infusion Friday at Pulse in Orlando welcomes special guest Shangela, the Debutantess of the Deep South! The RuPaul’s Drag Race alum will be performing starting at 12 a.m. DJ Power Infiniti will be in the main room and DJ Scott Robert will be in the Adonis Lounge playing ’80s and ’90s music.

Also from RuPaul’s Drag Race, local girl who made good Roxxxy Andrews will be performing at Fuego Fridays at Revolution in Orlando. She will be joining the Ladies of the Majestic Theater, Lisa Lane, Maya Andrews, and Jasmine International, during their 11 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. shows.

Saturday August 31

Florida Entertainment Group’s star-studded Labor Day Weekend continues at G.Bar in Tampa with special guest DJ Gustavo Scorpio (you may know him from Gay Days!) with the opening set played by DJ Scorpio from Atlanta! Charles Machado will be playing videos in the video room. Doors open at 9 p.m.

whcf satliquidShangela crosses Central Florida and after her Friday show at Orlando Pulse she’ll be performing at Liquid Tampa on Saturday. She will be joined by hostess Conundrum and DJ Greg Anderson. Doors open at 9 p.m. and there is free cover before 10. Buy your tickets online for a meet and greet with Shangela after the show!

Throb in Sarasota hosts the drag event The Rihanna Experience, whcf satrihannstarring Jaeda Fuentes as Rihanna. Enjoy the RiRi-themed night as Jaeda performs her favorites and Rihanna music videos are played all night. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the shows are at 12 and 1 a.m.

Four RuPaul’s Drag Race queens descend upon Parliament House in Orlando for Sashay! Joining the whcf phsashFootlight Players for a special midnight showing are Manila Luzon, Latrice Royale, Serena ChaCha and Lineysha Sparx. DJ Brianna will be playing the top club hits until 3 a.m. Get in before 11 and there is no cover!

Pulsate Saturday at Pulse in Orlando will be hosting a White Party. Wear white and party with the whcf satpulsePulse crew, including Angelica Sanchez, Roxxxy Andrews and Kai’Ja Taylor Adonis. Drag showtimes are at 11 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., and the queens will help host a hot body contest in between shows ($100 for the winner!).

Sunday September 1

Liquid Tampa combines the talents of resident DJ Power Infiniti with DJ Cindel from Miami for “Men at Work,” an Erotic Sundays event. Hot go-go dancers will be in various work uniforms to tantalize and tease you, and Labor Day Divas Kathryn Nevets and Daphne Ferraro will help you get into a partying mood!

For one night only, Skin Tampa will be hosting a “Men of Liquid Full Nude Revue” from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. Party at Liquid Tampa and a free shuttle will take you over to Skin Tampa further into Ybor City for the hot men parade! Alexis de la Mer will be hosting the sexy fun romp. $15 for men, $25 for women.

The biggest glow party Ybor City has ever seen is promised for Sunday night with the event After Glow at The Honey Pot, with DJ Ranny from Brazil as special guest. Thousands of free LED and glow sticks will be given away all night. They promise some of the hottest male dancers in Central Florida, who will be shaking their moneymakers to the beat as well. Doors open at 9 p.m.

Georgie’s Alibi in St. Petersburg will be having a White Party fundraiser, with proceeds benefitingwhcf satalibit The SMART Ride in south Florida. Raffles, games, and contests will be on offer, and a special benefit show hosted by Kori Stevens will feature Robyn DeMornay and special guests. The party starts at 8 p.m.

whcf sunsawmlDid someone say “rave“? Sawmill Resort in Dade City did. They will be having an rave complete with house music, glow sticks and body paint. Want something a little different? There will also be a foam party. Be there in the evening and rave until morning!

Parliament House’s largest T-Dance of the year always occurs on  Labor Day weekend, and as a way of saying thank you, the tradition of the free pig roast and buffet continues for another year this year. Enjoy the buffet from 6 to 9 p.m. and special Footlight Player shows at 7 p.m., 10 p.m. and 12 a.m.

Monday September 2

Want to relax after a long weekend of partying? Come to The Body Shop in Tampa, who will be hosting a potluck dinner and barbecue cookout at 5 p.m. Doors open even earlier, at 1 p.m., so come by and enjoy good company with good friends.
