Hope everyone is enjoying September! The temperature hasn’t gone down that much but I know I am enjoying the lack of humidity in the air. With a breeze, it can make the Florida heat seem somewhat bearable! And the nights are becoming enjoyable again for the first time in months. I can’t wait until we’re fully into the fall season; that will be paradise! Without further ado, this week we have ten of the hottest get-togethers listed in this column. You know you’ll be someone if you’re out and about at one of these events. Say “cheese” if you see any of our photographers; you just might make it into the magazine and onto the website! Lots of love to you all!

The school year has begun and Revolution in Orlando wants all those who attend UCF or Valencia to come on out to Pledge Thursdays (don’t worry, if you’re college-aged-at-heart, you’re more than welcome to come too!). Tonight there is a toga party, and a prize will be given out for best toga! Sawmill Resort in Dade City is billing this weekend as “the manliest weekend in September” as they will be having a biker luau weekend. Bring your motorcycle and participate in bike contests, biker bingo, and a luau party with lots of hunky bikers! The events last through Monday, September 23.
It will be pouring sisters at BarCodes Orlando as the Orlando Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will be behind the bar serving you your drinks all night long. All of the tips the sisters receive will be donated to charity. They promise that it will be the best time you can have in town, “bar nun”!
A two-night event starts tonight at Parliament House in Orlando and the name of the game is an epic battle of house, dance and pop music called “Mash Attacks!” Robin Skouteris and Pat Scott, two mashup DJs, will battle it out for club supremacy. Who will win? You be the judge. This is a courtyard event and there will be no cover on either night! Sponsored by Bears in the City.
Saturday September 21
Quench Lounge in Largo promises that their black light party will be very unique! Local artist Nicolas Di Iorio will be painting any guest who needs it. The Broken Tusk in St. Petersburg is becoming well-known for its monthly birthday bashes, and it’s time for the September event!
