The Pride Center at Equality Park, with the help of the City of Wilton Manors, will be presenting their fourth annual “Evening in Paradise” fundraiser. The host venue for this enchanting evening is the Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve (1937 Wilton Dr.). The festivities will take place on Saturday, February 21 starting at 7 p.m. This year, the theme is “Mykonos: Gods & Goddesses.” Be sure to pull out your toga from the closet and be prepared to show yourself off as the god or goddess you really are!
This evening is a fundraiser to support The Pride Center and the large number of services and programs it offers to the LGBT community in Broward County. It will also benefit the City of Wilton Manors and their Island City Foundation, which manages sponsorships for the cultural, educational and social events that happen throughout the year in the city (including, but not limited to, gay pride in June).
