Wednesday February 1

Former teen idol Tiffany shot to stardom 30 years ago with a grassroots tour of America, singing “I Think We’re Alone Now”. She’s still touring the U.S., and her next performance dates are tonight and tomorrow at Parliament House Orlando, both nights at 8 p.m. Tickets are $45 for general admission and $75 for VIP (includes meet and greet). Join the staff at Punky’s Bar and Grill in St. Petersburg for a fun night of bingo, with funds raised benefiting Advantage Tampa Bay. Arrive at 8 p.m. because the games will start promptly at 8:30. MBA Orlando’s monthly networking mixer will be held tonight at 6 p.m. at Teach for America Orlando, at 1016 W. Church St., Suite B. The mixer, sponsored by Teach for America and Hard Rock Cafe, brings together Orlando’s LGBT and allied business community. Thursday February 2

The LGBTQ Alliance, a coalition of over 20 Central Florida LGBT organizations, is hosting a town hall meeting at Acacia Banquet Halls, 1865 N. Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. They are asking input from the community about immediate needs that need to be addressed in the LGBT community, as well as long-term hopes and desires.

Friday February 3

Hamburger Mary’s Orlando‘s “Facebook Fridays” theme night has now transitioned into a more traditional performance format called “Dining with the Divas“, featuring Friday mainstays The Minx, Nicky Monet and Aysia Black. Reserve your table for 7:30 p.m. before the show at 8:30: call (321) 319-0600.

The Friday night hostess at Enigma in St. Petersburg, Daphne Ferraro, will be celebrating her birthday with a special show featuring three of her closest friends: Kathryn Nevets, Chi Chi Lalique and Jocelyn Summers! Get there at 9 p.m. so you can buy a drink and mingle with friends before the big show at 10:30.

Southern Nights Tampa’s NeiBEARhood Takeover features adult film star Rocco Steele as the guest of honor, who will be selling his 10 Seven Underwear alongside GOBEARR Gear, selling their leather and fetish gear. There will be a “biggest bulge” contest at 1 a.m., sponsored by Hamburger Mary’s Pub House. No cover before 11 p.m.

If you’re a fan of FX’s American Horror Story, you must make plans to go to Parliament House Orlando‘s theme night, “The Best of American Horror Story“. Dress up as your favorite character and see AHS-themed Footlight Player shows at 10 p.m. and midnight. Music by DJ Brianna in the disco until 3 a.m.

Sunday February 5

Watch the Super Bowl with friends at Quench Lounge in Largo beginning at noon. At 4 p.m., the festivities will continue with a Super Potluck Party; bring a dish to be shared by the rest of the group. Enjoy good company and great food before, during and after kickoff.

Thursday February 9

The popular Pick-a-Trick event presents its third annual offering tonight at Southern Nights Orlando. See someone you like in the lineup? Write down their number and send them a secret note! Stay for the freshman lineup show at 10:30 hosted by MrMs Adrien, as well as the main show at midnight, with Axel Andrews, Kai’ja Adonis, and Roxxxy Andrews. Music by DJ Dlux.

Friday February 10

Are you a bear looking for love (or lust)? Join like-minded individuals at one of the hottest dance parties of the month, happening tonight at Quench Lounge in Largo. For the first time, GOBEARR Gear, a past business profiled in Hotspots Central’s small business spotlight, will be selling portions of their inventory at the bear party. Music by DJ Reagan.

Flamingo Resort in St. Petersburg hosts one of its most popular drag events, the annual employee turnabout, tonight at 10 p.m. in the Blu Theater. Watch your favorite bartenders and staff rock it in drag, with all proceeds raised going to the AIDS Service Association of Pinellas.

Saturday February 11

Stonewall Bar Orlando presents the first annual Glitter Ball, a dance party for friends and lovers, which will benefit Miracle of Love, Stafford House and OMG. There will be raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and a picture booth with optional “Cupid” glitter photo frame. The Stonewall Starlettes will perform a show at 10:30. Music by DJ Skinner.

Leigh Shannon’s Cabaret Dinner Show has been going strong at Hamburger Mary’s Orlando for the past eight years, and the high-energy performances from its talented cast are truly a testament to the show’s success. Celebrate the Gasparilla Knight Parade with your friends at Southern Nights Tampa, who are presenting their second annual Surrender the Booty dance party. Enjoy music by DJ Chris Tavi and DJ Dutch, and a drag show at midnight featuring Roxxxy Andrews, Jade Embers, and a special guest star! Doors open early, at 4 p.m., to accommodate the large crowds coming to Ybor City. No cover before 10 p.m.

Nakovy Boom’s Dream Boys will be shaking what they’ve got for you this evening at Parliament House Orlando. The Men of Miami will be bringing their signature spice to the disco and the video bar all night long. Footlight Players shows will be performed at 10 p.m. and midnight. DJ Brianna spins in the disco until 3 a.m.

Sunday February 12

Get out your winter-themed costumes and lace up those running shoes! Tampa Pride’s first annual fun run, which begins at 10:30 a.m. in Centennial Park, will take participants on a 1.5 mile track through Ybor City. Hamburger Mary’s St. Petersburg hosts a round of drag bingo for an important organization, Passion 4 Pits, which arranges for fostering and eventual adoption of rescued pit bulls. There is a $10 suggested donation to participate in the bingo games, which begin at 7 p.m. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a selection of pit bulls you can apply to adopt today. The Ultra Lounge in Cocoa is celebrating Mardi Gras tonight, so wear your cutest outfit incorporating purple, green and gold, and laissez les bons temps rouler! The Saturday drag show at 11:30 p.m. will feature the talents of Alexi Leigh and Azhia Li.

The Orlando Host Committee presents The Enchanted Jungle, a benefit party for The GLBT Community Center of Central Florida dedicated to life, love and a return to the dance floor. If it’s February, it’s Mardi Gras season, and Flamingo Resort in St. Petersburg has a Mardi Gras party in store that promises to put all the others to shame! Balance Tampa Bay’s February service event consists of a fun morning volunteering at Suncoast Animal League, located on Alt 19 in Palm Harbor. The volunteering will begin at 8:30 a.m. and go on until 12:30. Equality Florida’s annual Tampa Gala is one of the largest fundraisers the LGBT civil rights organization hosts every year, and it’s no surprise considering the gala’s exquisite venue, TPepin’s Hospitality Centre. Before the Academy Awards air on TV tonight, you might very well end up taking home an award of your own from the 2017 Stoney Awards, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Stonewall Bar Orlando. Hamburger Mary’s Daytona Beach hosts “Royalty Stands United“, an evening of entertainment featuring current drag titleholders, including Suzy Wong (Miss Gay America), Alexis Gabrielle Sherrington (Miss National Entertainer of the Year), and Jazell Barbie Royale (Miss Continental).
