Now in its 3rd year, FLoatarama’s signature annual event on June 11, 2022 will feature a Flotilla of 40 decorated boats along the New River and ICW in honor of Pride month, followed by the Sailor’s Dance & Pool Party at the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal/Il Lugano.
Funds raised by FLoatarama, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, will go to the “FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund”, supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged LGBTQ youth. The fund is managed by Our Fund Foundation, FLoatarama’s philanthropy partner.100% of all ticket sales will go to the FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund.
The Flotilla will feature decorated private and charter vessels, starting in downtown Fort Lauderdale at Esplanade Park at 12.30pm. The Flotilla route proceeds down the New River and up the ICW (Intra Coastal Waterway), ending at the waterfront Sailors T-Dance and Pool Party at the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal/Il Lugano.
Registration for private boats to join the Flotilla is now open, and tickets are also available to participate in the Flotilla on a 65’ double decker vessel donated by Water Taxi.
The waterfront Sailors Dance and Pool Party at Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal/Il Lugano (3333 NE 32nd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308) is 2-6pm, featuring legendary San Francisco DJ Matt Consola of SwishCraft Music. Arrive by water or by land!
