On Friday, October 10, The Pride Center at Equality Park in Wilton Manors, Florida, will host an evening of comedy, theater, and improvisation from 6 PM to 8 PM EDT. The event will be organized by Lesbian Thespians as part of their Scene & Heard fundraiser series, which supports women-led theater. Comedian Diane Jorge will headline the night with a two-part performance.
First, she will bring Solovela, a one-woman improvised telenovela, to life by playing every character on stage with her signature wit. Afterward, she will continue with Mercado de la Fortuna, a fortune-telling comedy act filled with humor, spontaneity, and audience engagement. Lesbian Thespians is a South Florida-based, inclusive, non-profit performing arts community founded and led by women. Tickets and details about the event will be available through Lesbian Thespians’ social media pages.
