A new addition to Bravo’s long-running reality universe may be the easiest entry point yet for new viewers. For years, fans of The Real Housewives have faced a common hurdle: the sheer volume of content. Since its 2006 debut in Orange County, the franchise has expanded to 11 additional cities, producing a total of 112 seasons. Several series—including New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Potomac, and Salt Lake City—remain in production. Now, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is positioning itself as a fresh starting point.
Premiering this month, the show is set in the smallest U.S. state and introduces a new cast: Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehma Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi. Early episodes suggest strong, long-standing relationships among the cast. Storylines have already unfolded rapidly. Swanson addressed accusations of “polygamy,” clarifying she was dating two men rather than married to multiple partners.
Carmody revealed she had once run someone over with her car. Meanwhile, Pontarelli faced allegations about her husband’s alleged mistress.
With only a few episodes released, the series is already drawing attention. The Real Housewives of Rhode Island airs Sundays on Bravo in the United States.
