What’s HOT South Florida (9/08/2011 – 9/15/2011)

This past Labor Day weekend was filled with lots of events around south Florida. As a matter of fact, if someone wanted to go all of them I don’t think they would’ve been able to sleep! The weekend started Friday night with the much anticipated grand opening of CoCo bar in south Miami. Ray and his team did it right and gave south Miami a new fabulous place to party as was seen from the packed house all night! It seems like every club was packed on Saturday night but the highlight was Discotekka’s Blackout Lockdown party, which packed the kids in till the wee hours of the morning. Wendy, Joe, Danny, Vegas and Milancita once again turned it out! It seems like every club was packed on Saturday night but the highlight was Discotekka’s Blackout Lockdown party, which packed the kids in till the wee hours of the morning. Wendy, Joe, Danny, Vegas and Milancita once again turned it out!

Sunday afternoon Sidelines featured their summer cook-off finals and after some incredible dishes the judges choose John Woodward as this year’s grand prize winner! Immediately afterwards we headed over to alibi for the return of Cashetta. This was a onetime only special show and the boys turned out to show Cashetta how much we love her and her zany magic and comedy.

Sunday was once again busy everywhere, but the 3 biggest parties were Gary Santis’ annual Black Fort Lauderdale party at The Manor, Hilton Wolman and Score Productions Urge party at Cameo and the O’zone reunion party starring Mariloly at CoCo bar. Congratulations to all the establishments for making South Florida such a fun place to call home!
