Jorge Alvarado and his team of mixologists are set to host another season of The JORGE Show, Tampa Bay’s new Happy Hour . The show, created by Alvarado, has become a station favorite on TBCN. The JORGE Show is a one-hour variety show that features entertainers, musical acts, fashion, business advice, entertainment news, and more. Alvarado calls on various local experts, dubbed as mixologists, for special segment reporting. The mixologists include Keisha Pickett (BlackintheBay.com); Evelyn Morell (Value Tax Prep); Scott Moore (fashion) and Lisa Reeves (living & lifestyle). Viewers can watch The JORGE Show on three networks: Bright House 949/950, Comcast 20 and Verizon 30/36. The show is also streamed live on the internet on UStream. Social butterfly Indyana Davis and Jorge’s infamous mother will also return in season two of Tampa Bay’s New Happy Hour The JORGE Show.
The first season of The JORGE Show offered exclusive interviews with celebrities like Super Bowl champion Ray Lewis, and appearances from recording artists Evan Koteles, JNathan and Alan Darcy. Best of the Bay actress Alison Burns and rock star stylist David Hensley also graced the set of The JORGE Show. In addition to guest appearances, Jorge’s comedic intro skits have become one of the most anticipated parts of the show. The skits are full of parody and offer various perspectives on common issues. Season two will feature recording artist Lisa Casalino and actress Paige Anderson (Spring Breakers Movie). The second season will also feature more red carpet reviews including the upcoming The Blacks Annual Gala hosted by Lea and Roy Black in Miami. The gala will feature chart-topper Flo Rida, DJ Irie, DJ Trouble, and other celebrity invitees.
