I knew from when I was a little girl.
Who was the first person in the biz to notice you and when was that?
We played around LA. Some record companies had interest in us, but no one would sign us. In those days there wasn’t a track record of an all girl band that was successful. Miles Copeland from IRS records finally signed us.

Amazing, and to this day it still is amazing.

How did the Go-Go’s come together?
One night when I was sitting on a curb outside of a party.
Once the Go-Go’s stopped recording was it a natural choice to record solo and how did it come about?
I just knew I had the opportunity to make an album, so I didn’t waste any time and did it right away!
