The Manor Turns Four

The nightclub that revolutionized Wilton Drive’s nightlife by bringing it a large dance club is turning four this Saturday night, and boy, have they got a party in store for the community! Doors open for Mount Olympus at 10:30 p.m. and according to manager Gary Santis, “The Mount Olympus theme will come to life with a theme inspired decor, specialty choreographed productions, along with beautiful, dancing toga-clad muscle gods. The crescendo of the evening will be when diva songstress Kristine W. takes the stage to perform with her electrifying spirit and dynamic vocals.”

As Gary stated, the night will star international recording artist Kristine W. performing on the main stage as only she can. In addition, there will be a fabulous performance by Erika Norell and the Manor cast, beat by DJ Monty Q, as well as Go-Go Gods for your visual pleasure. In the Ivy room and patio, Noche Latina Saturdays presents a special performance, direct from Puerto Rico, the one and only Lorna Vando. Also present that night will be star hostess Viva Mirage and DJ Larry Larr. Doors are open from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. and there will be no cover.

When asked about how the last four years treated him, owner Brett Tannenbaum said, “These past four years have been such a wonderful ride. We will continue to grow and provide Florida and its visitors an international club experience with cutting edge entertainment, shows and themes.”

Over the last four years, the Manor has brought south Florida some of the most incredible talent out there, from DJs (Manny Lehman, the much-missed Peter Rauhofer, Alyson Calagna, Susan Morabito, Chus & Ceballos, Tony Moran, Chris Cox, David Knapp, Tracy Young, Joe Gauthreux, Ana Paula), to singers (Frenchie Davis, Blake Lewis, Amuka Kimberly Davis, Deborah Cox, Olivia Newton-John, KC from KC and the Sunshine Band, Beverly McClellan, Pepper Mashay, Kevin Aviance, Cazwell, Veronica, Courtney Act, CeCe Peniston, Prince Poppycock) to RuPaul’s girls (Sharon Needles, Jinkx Monsoon, Shangela, Phi Phi O’Hara, Shannel, Raven, Carmen Carrera, Roxxxy Andrews, Latrice Royale, Lineysha Sparx, Yara Sofia, Vivienne Pinay, Raja, Jessica Wild, Madame LaQueer, Nina Flowers, Morgan McMichaels, Tyra Sanchez, Sahara Davenport, Alexis Mateo) to other drag personalities (Coco Peru, Dixie Longate, Miss Richfield 1981, Amanda Lepore, Lypsinka) to comedians (Bruce Vilanch, Lea Delaria, Suzanne Westenhoefer, Dana Goldberg, Del Shores), and that’s just to name a few.

When asked how they were going to continue to be on the cutting edge, manager Jason Tamanini said, “The Manor has been such an exciting challenge. Our hard work and dedication to providing the best environment for our guests to experience has been the main focus. We will continue to listen to the pulse of what is happening around the world and bringing it to south Florida.”
