Este mes de abril, Miami Beach Gay Pride vuelve para celebrar su sexta celebración en SoBe. Cada año, el evento crece y este año no es excepción. Lo que empezó hace seis años como una celebración con unas pocos miles de personas, ya es un evento que dura casi una semana entera con muchas fiestas, eventos VIP, celebridades, y mas de 80 miles de personas celebrando su “Orgullo”. This month, Miami Beach Gay Pride returns to celebrate its sixth year in South Beach. Every year since its inception, the event has grown and this year will surely be no exception. What started off as a small festival with a few thousand attendees, has grown into an nearly week-long event with parties, VIP events, celebrities, and more than 80,000 spectators celebrating their pride. What follows is our Pride Guide, where you will find all the information you need about each of the events that make up Miami Beach Gay Pride this year. An extraordinary event that features a loud and colorful parade and more than 100 LGBT friendly vendors (including Genre Latino) , celebrities, musical performances, food, drinks, and a family friendly play area. This year, the First Lady of Miami, Gloria Estefan will be the Grand Marshal along with multi-faceted artist Kenny Ortega. As soon as the parade ends, the one and only Alex Infinity will take over the main stage for a set that will get everyone dancing. All parade and festival events are free and open to the public including the performances by guest celebrity DJ Lady Bunny, and a special one time only performance by Courtney Act direct from the current season of Rupaul’s Drag Race on Logo. Miami icon and drag diva Elaine Lancaster will be the emcee for the festival stage. Miami Beach Gay pride has become the biggest one day festival in Miami Beach and it is such an important event for the LGBT community. See you there.
