The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus starts off its 29th season with a fan favorite, the “Fall Follies” concert. This is the fourth year that the Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus has presented a “Fall Follies” show and this year it will be presented at the Horvitz Auditorium at the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale (1 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale). The show will go on Saturday, September 20, starting at 8 p.m.

This cabaret-style concert will showcase the talents of each member of the Chorus, and will also feature some guest performers. This will allow the audience to get to know certain members of the Chorus, their vocal range, and what they bring to the stage. In addition, there will be a few numbers which will be performed by the entire Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Gary Keating, who returned in 2012 after conducting the original Chorus in 1986 and staying at the helm through the 1995-96 season.

General admission tickets cost $25 and can be purchased online by going to theftlgmc.org or by calling the Chorus office at (954) 832-0060. Tickets can be printed out online or they can be picked up at 7 p.m. at the Museum’s Will Call window, one hour before the show. A cash bar will be set up before the show for the audience’s convenience. This is a one-time only show so be sure to buy your tickets now and don’t miss the beautiful voices of the Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus.

The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus is the oldest choral group of its kind in South Florida, having performed continuously since 1986.
