SAVOY Orlando’s Grand Re-Opening

SAVOY Orlando (1913 N. Orange Ave., Orlando) has been in business for two years now with the same ownership, and to celebrate, owner Brandon Llewellyn is throwing a grand re-opening party! The festivities begin on Wednesday, April 1 at 8 p.m.

“Things have been very good. We’ve come a long way in two years,” Llewellyn, beaming with pride, told Hotspots in an exclusive interview.

If you’re a SAVOY regular, you may have noticed that there are some changes going on. All the carpet was ripped up in the main bar and in the dance bar and it has since been replaced with beautiful new tile. In addition to those changes, a new light system has been installed for the dance floor and for the show area, along with the addition of brand new light fixtures and paint touch-ups to interior areas. Llewellyn has noticed a lot of his customers are giving their two cents abouts the changes. “Just from what we’ve done so far, we’ve received so much great feedback,” he told Hotspots.

This anniversary party will bring out all of the regulars and some new faces who are eager to check out the remodel. It also gives part-time patrons the chance to check out the Ivanhoe Wine and Spirits store next door (1909 N. Orange Ave.), which opened last year. Drag shows are returning to SAVOY on Friday and Saturday nights, and a lead drag queen from their new weekend shows will be on hand to perform and entertain the crowd. There will also be a DJ spinning dance and top 40 pop for your listening and dancing pleasure, and of course the famous Men of SAVOY Dancers will be shaking their stuff for you in the main bar.

SAVOY Orlando is open seven days a week, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. The Men of SAVOY Dancers dance every night from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. For more information on SAVOY Orlando, call (407) 270-4685 or visit savoyorlando.com.
