Gay Disney

Este fin de semana es uno de los más esperados por nosotros los que vivimos en Florida, ¡es el fin de semana de Gay Disney! Los eventos giran en torno a 3 grandes promotores, cada uno con muchos eventos/fiestas. Pride Wind Ensemble

El South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble, bajo la dirección del director artístico Dan Bassett, estará presentando su nuevo espectáculo llamado “Now Playing”. Ellos se estarán presentando en el Teatro Amaturo en el Broward Center for the Performing Arts el Sábado, 06 de junio a las 7pm.  El Pride Wind Ensemble describe “Now Playing” como “¡un espectáculo musical de Broadway a la pantalla grande!” Los boletos ya están a la venta con un costo de $30 por persona. South Florida Symphony Orchestra

El South Florida Symphony, bajo la dirección de la Maestra Sebrina María Alfonso, pone a su disposición otro espectáculo en su serie de música de verano. Este espectáculo se llama “Un Mundo de Orgullo”, y contará con dos actuaciones. El primer show es el domingo 7 de junio a las 7:30 pm en Los Estudios de Key West (600 White Street, Key West). El segundo es en el S. Leiser Opera Center Josephine (221 Nugent Avenue, Fort Lauderdale) a las 7:30 pm el martes 9 de junio. Para ambos shows, hay una recepción que comienza 30 minutos antes de los eventos. Los boletos están disponibles en Internet o por teléfono. Las entradas cuestan $35 por persona para entrada general al concierto en Fort Lauderdale, y $30 para la entrada general y $35 para asientos reservados en el concierto de Cayo Hueso. The Sapphire Gala

El Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber Of Commerce (MDGLCC) honrará a corporativos e individuos que apoyan a la comunidad LGBT de Miami-Dade durante su Celebración Anual de Gala, “La Gala Zafiro”, el sábado 13 de junio a las 6pm, en el recién inaugurado 1 hotel & Homes South Beach, situado en 2341 Collins Avenue en Miami Beach. Los galardonados fueron seleccionados por su compromiso a largo plazo para el fomento de la diversidad, así como por sus esfuerzos para contribuir a la calidad de vida en general en el sur de la Florida. La gala de este año volverá a ser presentada por Wells Fargo. Todas las entradas para “La Gala Zafiro”, una vez más son VIP este año. Los boletos cuestan $2.000 para mesas de 10 personas o $200 para entradas individuales. Wilton Manors Stonewall

Este año, el Stonewall Summer Pride, programado para el Sábado, 20 de junio promete ser más grande y mejor que nunca, ya que contara con la presentación de En Vogue—uno de los grupos más exitosos de los años 90—que cantará todos sus éxitos desde el escenario principal en la intersección de Wilton Drive y NE 6th Street. En otro escenario se presentará la incomparable Crystal Waters, que es un espectáculo fijo en los festivales del orgullo gay y otros eventos de la comunidad LGBT. También habrán otros grandes presentaciones. Este año, el festival comenzará a la 1pm y el desfile comenzará a las 6pm en Wilton Drive, que estará cerrada al tráfico de vehículos durante todo el día. NLS at the Manor

Noche Latina Saturday que se presenta cada sábado en The Manor, este mes goza con varios eventos que no te debes de perder. El sábado 6 de Junio es el tan esperado regreso de Viva Mirage a los escenarios de NLS, después de haber sufrido múltiples ataques al corazón. Como invitada especial estará Champagne Bordeaux. El sábado, 13 de junio llega a The Manor la participante del programa de tv RuPaul’s Drag Race temporada 7, e incomparable Miss Fame. Las primeras 100 personas podrán conocer a nuestra invitada a las 11pm. El Sábado, 20 de junio es Stonewall Orgullo y NLS contará con invitados especiales, la recién coronada Miss Gay USofA, Mokha Montrese. La anfitriona de la noche va a ser Miss Noche Latina 2015, Kalah Mendoza. El sábado 27 de junio, NLS contará con su fiesta anual y además muy popular cuando celebrarán el orgullo Puertorriqueño. Como invitada especial estará Miss Florida FI 2014/15, Bretaña Moore. Noche Latina Saturday empieza a las 11pm hasta las 4am con entrada gratis, la música de DJ Nena y los ardientes y guapos bailarines Go-Go Papis.

Pride Wind Ensemble

The honorees were selected for their long-term commitment to fostering diversity, as well as for their efforts in contributing to the overall quality of life in South Florida. This year’s gala will once again be presented by Wells Fargo. All tickets to “The Sapphire Gala” are VIP again this year. Wilton Manors Stonewall

Stonewall Summer Pride on Saturday, June 20th promises to be bigger and better than ever because they have booked the 90´s super group En Vogue who will sing all their hits from the main stage at the intersection of Wilton Drive and NE 6th Street. On the north stage, they have booked the incomparable Crystal Waters who is a fixture at gay pride festivals and other LGBT community events. In addition to these 2 fabulous acts they have many others. This year, the festival will start at 1pm and the parade will kick off on Wilton Drive, which will be closed all day to vehicular traffic, at 6pm. NLS at the Manor

Noche Latina Saturdays in the Latin Lounge and patio at the Manor has many exciting events this month. This Saturday, June 6th is the return of Viva Mirage to the stage after her multiple heart attacks. She will be there with special guest Champagne Bordeaux. On Saturday, June 13, the Manor features, direct from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7, the incomparable Miss Fame, with the first 100 people on line at 11pm receiving a VIP meet and greet.  On Saturday, June 20th is Stonewall Pride and NLS will feature special guest, the newly crowned Miss Gay USofA, the wonderfully talented Mokha Montrese. The hostess that night will be Miss Noche Latina 2015, Kalah Mendoza. On Saturday, June 27, they will feature their annual, and very popular, Puerto Rican Pride party with special guest, Miss Florida F.I. 2014/15, Brittany Moore. NLS is from 11pm to 4am and features the sounds of resident DJ Nena spinning all your Latin favorite, Hot latin Go-Go papi’s and no cover.
