Four Florida Performances Starting August 8
Happy and, yes, “bubbly,” Malibu, California native Colbie Caillat has entertained millions of fans with her uplifting brand of pop songwriting. Five albums and four platinum-selling singles later, she embarks on her sixth major tour, the “Girls Night Out, Boys Can Come Too” tour. She will be making four stops in the Sunshine State on this tour.
You can see her at the House of Blues in Lake Buena Vista on Saturday, August 8 at 7 p.m., at the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater on Sunday, August 9 at 8 p.m., at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville on Tuesday, August 11 at 7:30 p.m., and at the Marina Civic Center in Panama City on Wednesday, August 12 at 7:30 p.m. Rachel Platten will open for Caillat in Lake Buena Vista, Clearwater and Panama City, and
Colbie Caillat released her first album, Coco, in 2007 when she was only 22. Her first single, “Bubbly,” became a pop hit, peaking at #5 on the Hot 100 and #2 on the Pop 100. Her 2008 duet with Jason Mraz, “Lucky,” earned her a Grammy Award. Her 2009 album Breakthrough was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album. Her most recent album, Gypsy Heart, was released last year. In her career, she has won two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Music Award (for Rising Star) and two BMI Pop Awards. She has sold over six million albums in the United States and ten million singles.
