The Popular Music Festival Comes to Florida for the First Time

When he helped create the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, John Sykes, the President of Entertainment Enterprises for iHeartRadio, remarked about the genre’s influence: “Latin music has shown incredible growth on iHeartRadio – so we decided to use the great format and cultural firepower of the iHeartRadio Music Festival to create a festival that celebrates these great artists and their music. Bringing this caliber of Hispanic artists together for a night of incredible performances will be an experience you can’t see anywhere else.” The inaugural event, held last year in Inglewood, California, was a big success, featuring music acts such as Ricky Martin, Pitbull, Prince Royce, and Daddy Yankee.
This year’s event is coming to Florida and the lineup is the biggest and best one yet. The second annual iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina will be held on Saturday, November 7 beginning at 8:30 p.m. at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami. The music festival will also be broadcast live on Yahoo! Live, on iHeartRadio-affiliated Spanish pop, tropical, regional Mexican and/or Spanish adult contemporary radio stations, and on the Spanish-language television network Telemundo.
Here’s a rundown of the singers who will be participating in the 2015 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina in Miami on November 7:
Prince Royce – Prince Royce will also be returning to the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina this year. Originally from The Bronx, he released his first album, self-titled, in 2010. He has charted four #1 singles on the Billboard Latin charts and eight #1 singles on the Billboard Tropical charts.
Natalia Jiménez – She was one-half of the Spanish pop/rock band La Quinta Estación before going solo in 2010. She has since released two Spanish-language albums in the United States, Natalia Jiménez (2011) and Creo en Mi (2015).
Marco Antonio Solís – A music icon for over 40 years, he was part of the band Los Bukis before starting a solo career in 1996. The winner of five Latin Grammy Awards, he has earned nine #1s on the Billboard Latin charts and he has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Camila – A pop/rock duo consisting of Mario Domm and Pablo Hurtado, they have released three albums together. Their most recent, Elypse (2004) was nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album.
Becky G – A California singer who got her start on YouTube, Becky G’s debut single, “Shower” (2014), went double-platinum stateside, and charted in the Top 40 in ten countries.
Voz de Mando – A four-person group based out of Los Angeles, they are well-known for performing Mexican music in the Norteño style. They have been nominated for a Latin Grammy Award and earned #1 hits on the Billboard Mexican Songs chart.
