Georgie’s Alibi/Monkey Bar presents the Hurricane Showdown Closing Party and Awards Ceremony starting at 4 p.m. with a buffet for members at 6p.m. and the awards ceremony following on the main stage.

Scandals Saloon presents their monthly Lady Fancy Gospel Jubilee, at 6 p.m. This is a joyful celebration of Southern Gospel music.

Stonewall Library & Archives (1300 East Sunrise Boulevard) presents an Open House from 6-8 p.m., which is free to attend. Refreshments provided courtesy of Barefoot Wine & Bubbly.

Enjoy a social evening gathering members of Stonewall National Library, and supporters of Stonewall National Museum & Archives as they open their doors to thank their current members and invite anyone interested in learning more about their massive 27,000 LGBT lending library that features a film collection of more than 5,000 DVDs – the majority of which are not available from Netflix!

The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC) with the support of Gilead invites health professionals, advocates, and other interested community members in learning more about “Proactive HIV prevention with Truvada for PrEP” to attend their engaging and informative luncheon from 11:30a.m. – 1:30p.m. at Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay (1633 North Bayshore Drive) with guest speaker will be Dr. Joseph Piperato.  This luncheon is part of the MDGLCC-U series of events where they expose their members and the community at large with opportunities to share knowledge and tools along with a networking component. Georgie’s Alibi/Monkey Bar presents Mr. AliPig Pageant at 9:30p.m. The pageant will be hosted by Mr. Florida M.E. 2017 Antonio Edwards and includes the categories: Presentation (Pig in a Poke), Q&A, Pig Leather Wear, and Talent (Through Eating Contest).

Hunters Nightclub presents their annual “Glad To Give Gala,” a fundraiser for the Poverello Food Bank and the Gamma Mu Foundation from 7 to 10p.m.. The dress code is elegant event and the entry is a $50 donation in cash or appropriate grocery cards. The event includes an open bar and hors D’oeuvres.
