The GLLN is next Social Luncheon, which is open to everyone, is at Tee Jay Thai Sushi (2254 Wilton Drive) from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The cost is $30 for Members and $35 for Non-Members, and they urge you to register early at GLLN.org.

Friday, August 3
Join Jerry and the staff of Mona’s for their 21st Anniversary celebration. They will feature a Hot Diggity Dog Cookout, and special surprises and giveaways all day long.

The Ramrod presents a Meet & Greet at midnight with James Lee, Mr. International Leather 2018. If you can’t make it tonight he will be back on Sunday from 9-11pm.

Comedian Kevin Hart comes to the Coral Sky Amphitheatre at 7pm. Kevin has appeared in such films as “Ride Along” and its sequel, “The Wedding Ringer,” “Get Hard,” “Central Intelligence” the “Jumanji” remake and many more. Tickets start at $36 and are available at Westpalmbeachamphitheatre.com.

Saturday, August 4
The Grand Opening of Dudes Barber (2039 Wilton Drive) takes place today at 5pm and features MC Nikki Adams along with some of the hottest 80’s recording artist including: Company B, Lime and Giggles who will all be there mingling, singing and signing autographs.

Georgie’s Alibi/Monkey Bar presents World Circuit DJ J Warren in the main room from 9pm to 3am. As always, there is no cover at Alibi.

The Ramrod presents Pig Dance #120 (first Saturday of every month) from 10pm to 3am with this month’s guest DJ Daniel Kristopherre.

The Club Fort Lauderdale features their bi-monthly (1st and 3rd Saturday of the month) Res-Erection Naked Blackout event at 10p.m. This is always a sold-out event, so get there early!

The Manor presents a Birthday Bash for Circuit DJ Joe Gauthreaux in the Ballroom. Tonight will also be the premiere party of Joe’s new Podcast “Summer of 2018” (Find it at: JoeGauthreaux.Podomatic.com). In the Ivy Dance Room and Patio, Noche Latina Saturdays presents guest DJ Ricardo Torres spinning all your Latin favorites. The night will also star Sasha Lords, Dominique Taylor, and sexy Latin Go-Go papi’s. Saturdays at the Manor Complex features NO COVER before midnight.

Sunday, August 5
Flip Flops Dockside Eatery presents their monthly T Dance (first Sunday of the month) from 4 to 7p.m., hosted by Amanda Austin with DJ Robert Lavalle spinning and this month’s special guests: Nicole Sapphire, Alexis De La Mer and Saphyre L’sweet Cardoza.

The Pub presents “BrutBears” Bear Necessi-T Dance from 4 to 10pm with DJ Guy Degiacinto, and sexy Go-Go bear Dancers.
My Girl and multi Grammy Winner, Janet Jackson (ok, ok, I have never met her, but can only dream), will be coming to the American Airlines Arena with her “State of the World Tour” at 8pm. The show includes fan favorites from her chart-topping “Unbreakable” album, her classic hits and soon-to-be released new tracks. Tickets start at only $26 at aaarena.com.

Tuesday, August 7
Pentatonix The Texas-based quintet broke through as the winners of the third season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off” Comes to the Coral Sky Amphitheatre at 8pm. They were, by far, the most successful group to come out of that series and have remained a universal success. They are joined by pop-rock trio Echosmith, known for such hits as “Cool Kids” and “Bright.” Opening is British singer/songwriter Calum Scott. Wednesday, August 8
Lips, the ultimate in drag dining, will present a special night of drag performances with their new show “Twisted Broadway” on at 7 pm as a fundraiser for Stonewall National Museum & Archives, featuring local celebrity guest servers. Bruce Willis is John McClane in the film that launched the billion-dollar action franchise, DIE HARD.
