Twenty Minute Rice Cooker Homemade Chicken Soup


½ Bag of Egg Noodles

I package of chicken tenderloins or 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 stalk of celery

½ large white onion

1 tablespoon of oregano

1 Maggi Chicken Bouillon cube

½ teaspoon of kosher or sea salt

½ teaspoon of ground black pepper

¼ bunch of cilantro (just leaves not diced) Save some for garnishing

1 bay leaf

1 palm full of matchstick carrots

  1. Slice the onion in long strips, do not dice
  2. Cut celery stalk in half the long way, and then take two halves and coarsely dice them
  3. Cut chicken into bitesize pieces
  4. Add the above and all other ingredients except egg noodles to your rice cooker
  5. Cover with water about 3 inches above the ingredients
  6. Turn on your rice cooker for the normal rice setting which is usually 20 minutes
  7. Open and add egg noodles in during the last 7-8 minutes.
  8. Remove bay leaf before serving
  9. Serve and garnish with cilantro
  10. ENJOY!!
