ArtServe is proud to announce the launch of its “Changemaker Circle,” a new monthly networking and strategic planning series for artists, entrepreneurs, creative professionals, service leaders and change makers who are interested in making a positive and powerful difference in the community through the arts. The inaugural session of the Changemaker Circle takes place today from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at ArtServe, (1350 E. Sunrise Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale). Future events take place at 6:30 pm on the third Friday of every month until the end of the year. SAGE & Prime Gentlemen’s Monthly Film Series presents: “The Happy Prince” today at 1:30pm in The Pride Center Main Hall. Literary legend Oscar Wilde (Rupert Everett) comes to life in this historical drama based on his affair with Lord Alfred “Bosie” Douglas (Colin Morgan), which ultimately resulted in the infamous indecency trial that ruined Wilde’s career, put him in prison for two years and exiled him from society. There is also an optional lunch planned before the movie at 12pm at Galanga’s Thai Restaurant, 2389 Wilton Drive (two blocks south of Five Corners). There is a 2 for 1 lunch menu with around 20 items priced $10 to $13 + Beverage per person) There will be free soda and popcorn served during the movie.

The MDGLCC (Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber Of Commerce) present their annual gala, this year with the color: Platinum. They will once again honor corporate and individual supporters of the Miami-Dade LGBTQ community at the Hilton Miami Downtown (1601 Biscayne Boulevard) starting at 6pm. The event will also feature pop-ups, a wonderful silent suction and a after gala moonlighting party. Tickets are $220, each and can be purchased at Gaybizmiami.com or by calling 305-673-4440.
The WMAE (Wilton Manors Art Expo) presents their monthly Art Walk from 5-8pm. South Florida’s fine artists will be displaying paintings, photographs, jewelry, and sculpture at various locations up and down Wilton Drive. For more info, go to: WMAE.org.

Noche Latina Florida invites the entire community to come out and celebrate their 21st anniversary at Noche Latina Saturdays inside the Ivy Dance Room and Patio, at The Manor Complex. The theme for the night will be “Lucky 21” (think Casino) and star Sasha Lords, and Miss Noche Latina 2019: Juliana Rivera, along with DJ Larry Larr and sexy Latin go-go papi’s. In addition, there will be over $2,100 in raffles, and giveaways including a basket to the Seminole Hardrock Hotel and Casino Hollywood which includes a night’s stay, a dinner, a guitar, a gift card and more.
