Broadway in Miami – 2019/20 Lineup

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County is proud to announce its 14th season of showcasing Broadway’s greatest hits in the Ziff Ballet Opera House with a six-show subscription package that is power-packed with musical blockbusters. The 2019/2020 Broadway in Miami season is anchored by the Broadway musical Hamilton (February 18 – March 15), which will play its premiere Miami engagement for a limited 4-week run.

Three additional 2019/2020 Broadway in Miami premieres include Fiddler On The Roof (October 29 – November 3), Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (December 3 – 8) and Summer: The Donna Summer Musical (May 12 – 17). Plus an exciting new production of the classic Miss Saigon (April 7 – 12) and the iconic musical phenomenon, Jesus Christ Superstar (June 23 – 28).

The 2019/2020 Broadway in Miami subscription season is presented by Florida Theatrical Association and the Adrienne Arsht Center along with presenting sponsor Bank of America and with support from Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

Fiddler On The Roof 

October 29 – November 3, 2019

Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Hamilton 

February 18 – March 15, 2020  

Hamilton is  the story of  America’s Founding  Father Alexander Hamilton,  an immigrant from the West Indies  who became George Washington’s right-hand  man during the Revolutionary War and was the  new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, as told by America now. 

With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy   Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.

Miss Saigon 

April 7 – 12, 2020
