The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC) presents its Spotlight Mega-Mixer Networker from 6 to 9pm at the NBC Universal Telemundo Center. ​Enjoy complimentary food bites, an open bar with Bacardi spirits, entertainment, and a free drawing for great prizes. Mingle and network with over 150 Chamber members, guests and the community at large. Leverage of the “Business Cards Bulletin Board” and Chamber Brand Ambassadors who will be present to answer inquiries and make introductions/connections. The music is by DJ JesiMixx of Event Party Productions.  Admission is : $10 for members who pre-register online, and $20 at door. All others are $20 if you pre-register online and $25 at door.

The WEAM Museum on South Beach (1205 Washington Avenue) presents Tea & Sex: Tinder and Relationships from 7-9pm. Tea & Sex is a monthly event that explores a variety of topics related to human sexuality. This month, join them for a roundtable discussion exploring Tinder and relationships. Is Tinder making it harder or easier for people to form connections and relationships? Writer Nancy Jo Sales argued in an article for Vanity Fair that Tinder and similar dating apps are behind what she calls “the dating apocalypse.” Ticket, which are only $10,  includes light refreshments and admission to museum galleries. The Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA…770 NE 125th Street

Miami) is thrilled to present Dirty Works, a Steely Dan tribute band, as part of its monthly “Jazz at MOCA” series 8pm.. Dirty Works is led by bassist James McCoy along with saxophonist/vocalist Greg Diaz, pianists Pete Wallace and David Siegel, guitarist Lindsay Blair and other outstanding musicians. Jazz at MOCA attendees can expect to hear all their old favorites including songs from the album Gaucho, such as Peg, Rikki Don’t Lose that Number, Reelin’ in the Years, Bodhisattva, Deacon Blues, Babylon Sister and more top hits. This event is free and open to the public.

The Manor Complex presents their annual Black Party Fort Lauderdale, where they opening 1 hour early at 10pm. I the ballroom catch Grammy nominated DJ Tony Moran spins alongside fetish dancers and productions.  In the Ivy Dance Room and Patio, Noche Latina Saturdays presents hostess Sasha Lords, special guests Diva Novva Gala and sexy Latin Go-Go Papi’s in fetish wear along with DJ Larry Larr. Doors open at 10pm to 4am and feature no cover before 11pm for FL Res, and only $10 after (18-20, $12 all night).

Flip Flops Dockside Eatery presents their monthly T Dance (first Sunday of every month) hosted by Amanda Austin with DJ Robert Lavalle and this month’s special guests: CoCo Lords, Alexis De Le Mer, and Mhi’ya Iman Lepaige. 

Tuesday, September 2

Sunserve and AHF are joining together to present a body positive pool party that centers and uplifts trans and fat bodies. They are making and taking space to reclaim “bikini body” to mean all bodies. Celebrate with them with BBQ style food, beer, wine, spiked punch, swimming and trans + fat + queer joy. Since achieving stardom with his breakthrough album Doin’ My Thing, Luke Bryan has maintained his stature as country music’s most beloved artist.
