What’s the one advice you would give pet owners?

The best advice I can give pet people is to feed a human grade diet so you have more money to spend on awesome accessories rather than unnecessary veterinary expenses that can be avoided!

Aimee Alvarez, Co-Founder

What makes your business unique?

At Fit & Go Pets we are the ultimate destination for holistic pet care. We pride ourselves on providing the best pet care services in our facility near Wynwood, resulting in active, happy pups and satisfied owners. Choose from half and full day daycare, boarding, pick-up and drop-off, dental cleanings, DOGOshoots, among so many other services.

At the heart of our approach is our Abuela, Mayrena, co-founder of Fit & Go Pets. Her unwavering care and unapologetic compassion for animals drives our business and embodies our team’s spirit. She welcomes each and every pup to Abuela’s House while their pawrents are away, for the day or for the week.

What’s the one advice you would give pet owners?
The number one advice I’d give to parent owners is to think before you pawrent, owning a pet is a huge responsibility. Pets have unique needs and if you aren’t ready nor prepared for the responsibility, your pet will likely end up suffering. But once you are ready and decide to find that special pet to come into your life, you’ll receive in return endless love and companionship.

Our team makes our business unique. We all are part of the Wilton Manors Community, and we love what we do. It has become an important part of our lives to care for the families we know already and those that we meet.  Each of us have our own four-legged kids and understand what it means to need care for them and the importance of their unconditional love. It’s all about community, love, and giving our best to our community’s pets.

What’s the one advice you would give pet owners?

Stay up to date with annual exams, dental cleanings, and parasite prevention. Also hug your pets every day and enjoy their unconditional love!
