The White House is giving LGBTQ+ youth a glimmer of hope despite the legislative attacks against them. The White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre who is the first openly gay White House press secretary recently announced that the White House is setting up a hotline for LGBTQ+ Youth who have been affected by recent anti-trans laws introduced and passed in states across the country. She said, “So I want to say directly to LGBTQI+ kids – you are loved just as you are, just the way you are.”
