iHeartMedia and P&G Unite Celebrities and LGBTQ+ Advocates for Can’t Cancel Pride 2024

iHeartMedia and Procter & Gamble are teaming up once again for the fifth annual Can’t Cancel Pride event, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community’s resilience and the power of music. The event, set for June 12, will feature performances by Billy Porter, Ben Platt, Melissa Etheridge, and more. The one-hour special will stream on iHeartRadio’s YouTube and Facebook pages, Hulu, Revry, and The Advocate Channel, starting at 8 p.m. ET. This event aims to raise awareness and funds for LGBTQ+ organizations, highlighting the importance of support and acceptance. Can’t Cancel Pride promises to be a night of unity, inclusion, and celebration. Acknowledging his steadfast activism, Billy Porter will be awarded the Elton John Impact Award this year. The event, now in its fifth year, honors changemakers across various sectors and supports six LGBTQ+ organizations – CenterLink, GLAAD, National Black Justice Coalition, OutRight International, The Trevor Project, and SAGE. Can’t Cancel Pride, born during the pandemic’s disruptions to Pride events, has raised over $14 million in four years for LGBTQ+ causes. In 2023 alone, it reached over 23 million viewers. Backed by Procter & Gamble brands, the event spans June as a month-long Pride celebration. iHeartMedia radio will promote the livestream on June 12.
