Several people were injured after a possible chemical agent was dispersed into a large crowd at Baltimore Pride this week. The Baltimore Parade and Block Party were abruptly halted when the chemical was released, and fireworks were set off, causing panic. Baltimore Police Department detective Freddie Talbert confirmed the incident occurred around 8:37 PM near North Avenue and Charles Street during a performance by headliner Saucy Santana. An investigation is underway, but no evidence currently suggests a targeted attack on the Pride celebration.
