Only the President of the United States, also his party’s presumed candidate for re-election, announcing that he wouldn’t run for another term after all. Speculation about how this harms or re-energizes his party, if the opposition will employ dirty tricks to prevent the Vice President from running for the top spot, if the Vice-President is electable, and if President Biden is victim or hero in this tale immediately began to spread like hot grease across social media.
