The Ft Lauderdale International Film Festival Shorts Films They/Them/You & I will bring an evening of compelling LGBTQ documentaries and short films on Saturday, February 15, from 5 to 8 PM at Savor Cinema.
The event begins with two documentaries at 5 p.m.: Artists at The Edge, exploring “otherness” in Provincetown’s queer community, and Barbette + Fontaine, connecting two drag icons across a century.
At 6 p.m., short films will include a sneak peek of Our Family Pride, a locally produced series about a family navigating life after discovering their father is gay. Other films span genres and countries, from the dystopian drama Safety State to the Iranian film Excess, tackling gender and inheritance laws.
