It’s official—Nicholas Galitzine has wrapped filming for the upcoming live-action Masters of the Universe movie. And he has given us a buff, shirtless teaser of himself as He-Man. The Red, White & Royal Blue heartthrob will star as Prince Adam and his alter ego He-Man in this big-screen take on the iconic franchise that—let’s be real—was many a queer kid’s gay awakening.
Galitzine, also known for his roles in Handsome Devil and the steamy Mary & George, confirmed the shoot is done with a revealing full-body image showing the famous blonde bob and all the right muscles. Galitzine shared, “It’s been the role of a lifetime, and I put everything into it.
There’s not much I can show you, but I am so proud of the movie we’ve made. Thanks to our amazing cast and crew for all your hard work.” The film, still untitled, co-stars Jared Leto as Skeletor and features an A-list ensemble including Camila Mendes, Idris Elba, and Alison Brie. It’s slated to hit U.S. theaters on June 5, 2026.
