The last 2 months have been so crazy for me, traveling across the state many times for important events, that this past week I decided I was going to give my body a break and stay local. Last Tuesday Johnny’s presented a big birthday bash for general manager AJ Cross. As he does every year, AJ made his birthday a benefit. This year the beneficiary was Sunserve, a social service agency providing many types of services to GLBT families in Broward County. The event was hosted by Electra with special performances by recording artist John Minnis, Misty Eyez, Alandra Matthews, TP Lords, Richard Cortez, Mia Sangria, Gemini Stone and many more. Wednesday was the monthly GLCC/Pride Center at Equality Park’s Founders’ Circle reception. This month it was at the beautiful Red Door Spa at the Galleria Mall. They were giving away complimentary manicures and chair massages.
This month it was at the beautiful Red Door Spa at the Galleria Mall. They were giving away complimentary manicures and chair massages. The DJ, bartender and bar was donated by Johnny’s. The Center would like to give a special thanks to the Red Door Spa for donating the space and being so accepting to our community. Friday I went to Living Room, which was once again packed with cute boys, to see the Diva JuJubee from “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” Well, she did not disappoint and put on a fabulous show. Afterwards she hung out in the VIP all night.
