You want to help out local non-profit organizations but you’re worried you won’t have the time to do so? Well, here’s an event where you can participate just by going out to lunch or dinner — Dining Out For Life (DOFL), a one-day international fundraiser, benefits non-profit HIV/AIDS service organizations in over 55 metropolitan areas across the United States and Canada.
The date of the event is April 28. Gather friends, family and coworkers and grab a meal at one of the participating restaurants and you can make a difference. Funds collected through DOFL will go to Care Resource so they can continue to provide intensive primary healthcare, HIV prevention education, testing, clinical trials and comprehensive support services to over 15,000 clients affected by HIV/AIDS in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
Restaurants will be donating a percentage of their funds from breakfast, lunch, or dinner – or sometimes all three to Care Resource.
