At what age did female impersonation become an interest?
Female Impersonation became an interest when I was 18. I liked the transformation and it gives me an opportunity to express myself through my fashion and creativity.
How did you pick your name?
My little sisters name is Lashauwn… it is also a name I don’t mind being called out of drag. Beyond inspires me to do more and I think my drag is big and beyond.
How did you go about getting on “RuPauls Drag Race.” Tell me about the experience?
I sent my tape in, which took me 2 days to produce. I made the show and my experience was intense as you have to be in drag for long periods of time, but I definitely had fun!
Who do you want to win?
I want Latrice to win because when I was in the competition there were times when I wanted to give up and she was there to encourage me mentally. She is also an amazing entertainer and she would be the best to win the title.
Tell me about the man behind Lashauwn Beyond ?
I am very goofy…I love to laugh, play and joke. However, I have a serious side as I run my own sewing business. Therefore I have to be strict or stern.
Tell me something people would be surprised to know about you.
I am actually not as shy that they made me look like on the show.
What’s ahead for Lashauwn Beyond ?
I am travelling and meeting all my fans and of course I am trying to expand my sewing business.
