WHSF-bannerThis was a crazy week filled with events that I am still tired from. It started last Monday when the Village Pub presented their first annual Miss & Mr. Village Pub. Lots of fun performances and in the end the winners were _______. On Tuesday nigh, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force presented Sparkle at the Red Room at the Shore Club hotel. Guests enjoyed an evening of socializing with MRD committee members, South Florida’s LGBT tastemakers, power players and allies, as well as a motivational speech from this year’s Eddy McIntyre Award recipient Joseph L. Falk. In addition, attendees were treated to a special performance by Miami-based critically acclaimed dancer and choreographer Pioneer Winter. On Saturday night Poizon Ivy celebrated her birthday at Discotekka with hundreds of her closest friends. Also on Saturday night, the Manor featured DJ Joe Gauthreaux in the Main room. In the Latin Room and Patio, special guest, direct from RuPaul’s All Stars, Latrice Royale. This was one of the busiest I have ever seen the Manor with people wall to wall in every room. Special shout out to my friend Latrice, who turned it out! It was the annual Urban Music festival Weekend in South Beach. Here is a pic of everyone dancing in front of Palace…fun! Sunday Afternoon, the Coral Reef Guest House, in association with Ruff Riders, presented a Pool Party. Sunday night was the much anticipated annual White Fort Lauderdale at Revolution and once again Abel turned it out to a bevy of beautiful men! Congrats Gary and Hilton on another successful party!
