Performances Starting December 2
After its wildly successful run at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts last year, The Book of Mormon returns to South Florida for a two-week run at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami from December 2 through December 14. Afterwards, the show stops in Central Florida at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando from December 26 through January 4 and at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa from January 20 through February 1.
The Book of Mormon is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the national tour. In Miami, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece – cash only. In Orlando tickets start at only $38.75, and in Tampa they start at $37.50. The wildly popular lottery for the Broadway production has attracted as many as 800 entries at some performances.
Entries will be accepted at the box office beginning two hours prior to each performance; each person will print their name and the number of tickets (1 or 2) they wish to purchase on a card that is provided. Ninety minutes before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets. Only one entry is allowed per person. Cards are checked for duplication prior to drawing. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase tickets. Limit one entry per person and two tickets per winner. Tickets are subject to availability.
The Book of Mormon is the winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Book, Best Direction, Best Featured Actress, Best Scenic Design, Best Lighting Design, Best Sound Design, and Best Orchestrations.
