What’s Hot South Florida: 01/08 – 01/14

New Year’s Eve was once again big all over the state of Florida. This year after spending 17 New Year’s Eve’s in South Florida I decided it was time for me to see Central Florida for New Year’s Eve and off to Orlando I went. I stayed at the Gardens (the beautiful time shares) at the Parliament House, which if you haven’t stayed there consider it a great option. The rooms are so beautiful I never want to leave. For New Year’s Eve I went to Southern Nights, which was packed, and I have to thank Owner Rick Kowalczyk and GM Danny Vega for treating us so special with a VIP booth and incredible service by VIP host D’andre. Here are some pics of New Year’s Eve all over Florida:

Beloved Sisters opens exclusively in Broward County at Cinema Paradiso-Fort Lauderdale and Cinema Paradiso-Hollywood and in Miami at Coral Gables Art Cinema. Beloved Sisters depicts the unconventional romance between two aristocratic sisters and a rebellious poet who took the European literary world by storm in the late eighteenth century. As the German Enlightenment flourishes in Weimar, vibrant Caroline von Beulwitz (Hannah Herszsprung) finds herself in an unhappy marriage to provide for her mother and shy younger sister Charlotte von Lengefeld (Henriette Confurius). When both sisters fall for outspoken writer Friedrich Schiller (Florian Stetter), their desire ignites a journey of shared passion and creativity. Charlotte and Schiller marry so that the lovers may pursue their menage a’ trois under the guise of convention, but as Caroline reveals herself to be a talented author in her own right, the trio’s fragile equilibrium is threatened and the sisters’ once unbreakable connection is irrevocably changed. Not Rated; Running Times: 170 minutes.
