Pride & Passion is the largest annual benefit for the Tampa Museum of Art, and for many years the LGBT community of Tampa has taken it upon themselves to form a volunteer committee to organize the event every year. This year’s Pride & Passion event will be held on Saturday, May 16 at the Tampa Museum of Art (120 W. Gasparilla Plaza) from 8 p.m. to midnight.

This year’s Pride & Passion event theme is “Forbidden” and evokes imagery of the Far East, namely China. Ticketholders will be allowed to peruse all of the Tampa Museum of Art’s collections, including the temporary exhibition American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell. There will be hors d’oeuvres served courtesy of Anise Global Gastrobar, Bamboozle Cafe, Justhai, and Timpano Italian Chophouse, and drinks courtesy of Tito’s Vodka and Tanduay Asian Rum.

In addition to admission, each ticketholder will receive a one-year membership to the Tampa Museum of Art. Prices start at $85 for advance purchase and $100 for those who wish to buy their tickets at the door.
