What’s HOT South Florida: 8/6 – 8/12

A week ago Tuesday, Randy Jones, the Cowboy from the Village People shared his stories from his career at the Stonewall National Museum – Wilton Manors Gallery. On Thursday evening I headed over to Long Island Thursdays at Alibi, which, as always, was packed. Friday evening was the closing party at Stable, and it was great to see so many people come out to pay tribute to this bar. On Saturday night we headed over to Unity Coalition’s Celebrate Orgullo Fundraiser at Dream Wine Lounge to hang out and support this great cause. Afterwards we headed to Progress Bar to hang with DJ AJ Reddy and the gang. Later on it was off to the Ramrod for Pig Dance #84 with DJ/Producer Bryan Reyes who featured his new hit song “Ramrod.” Speaking of DJ AJ Reddy, on Sunday I went to support him at the first Vagabundos Pool Party at the Vagabond Hotel on 73rd and Biscayne and the boys were out to party in colorful speedos galore. Congrats to promoter Rramon (spelled correctly) Molina and AJ for a great party! Afterwards we headed to Flip Flops Dockside Eatery for their monthly T dance and once again it was packed. Another crazy week of events in South Florida and I am exhausted… J
