Nick Jonas is a very talented artist and he’s a bit of a flirt! He’s valued our community very highly and has reached out to his LGBT fan base on multiple occasions. He isn’t even afraid to strip down and show off his goods for his fans, male or female! It’s hard to deny his smoldering sex appeal, but it also helps that underneath that sizzling-hot exterior is a kind heart and a soul dedicated to music.
Last year he released his second studio album, named eponymously Nick Jonas, and he has begun a 24-city tour of North America (Nick Jonas: Live in Concert) to promote this album. Two of his stops bring him to Florida: he will be at the House of Blues Orlando on Saturday, September 26 at 6:30 p.m. and he will be at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater on Sunday, September 27 at 7:30 p.m. Bebe Rexha will open for Nick Jonas both nights.
ABOUT NICK JONAS
In 2004, a Columbia Records executive noticed the single and signed Nick to a contract. His first album was released in 2005 when he was just 13. It was not a big seller, but Columbia Records was particularly impressed with Nick’s talent as well as the talents of his older brothers Kevin and Joe, who helped write tracks on Nick’s album. Columbia Records decided to promote the three brothers as a group act. The next year, the Jonas Brothers released their debut album. After being dropped by Columbia in 2007, Hollywood Records quickly picked them up, and their second album sold over three million copies in the United States.
2014 was a very busy year for Nick: he was musical and creative director for Demi Lovato on her world tour, he started work on the DirecTV series Kingdom, in which he plays a gay mixed martial arts fighter, and he recorded his long-awaited second full-length album. He released that album in November 2014, and the singles “Chains” and “Jealous” were very popular in dance clubs and on the radio. “Chains” peaked at #1 on the dance charts and in the pop top fifteen. “Jealous” topped the dance charts too, while peaking at #7 on the pop charts. “Jealous” alone sold more than two million copies.
In August of this year, he released a new single, “Levels,” which was part of a group of songs that were considered for album release but were not included on his last album. He has not ruled out the possibility of repackaging his most recent album and including the single “Levels”, as well as other songs, as “bonus material.”
