The Orlando Community Host Committee presents a benefit for The GLBT Community Center of Central Florida (“The Center”) called “Enchanted Jungle”. Originally scheduled for June, it was postponed after the Pulse tragedy occurred days before the event. The tone of the party has since been altered to serve as an understated and uplifting remembrance of the 49 lives lost on June 12, 2016, and for the community to come together to support The Center, as it worked tirelessly in the aftermath of Pulse, all the while still growing and serving thousands in the Orlando metro area.

Venue 578 (578 N. Orange Ave., Orlando) will play host to “Enchanted Jungle”, which is being described by the Host Committee as “a celebration of life, love and a return to the dance floor.” The party begins on Saturday, February 18 with a VIP reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Afterwards, there will be a dance party beginning at 8 p.m., featuring music by noted DJ “Twisted Dee” Martello, a performance from local entertainer Sassy Devine, and a live music performance from JSutta (aka Jessica Sutta, formerly of the group The Pussycat Dolls).

Keeping with the “Enchanted Jungle” title and theme, the party will include stilt walkers, on-site body painting, and more. Attendees are requested to come dressed in bright, jungle-themed costumes, but your attire is entirely up to you. Attendees will also get to bid on items in a silent auction, “gamble” at a special Las Vegas-style casino area, and partake in food and drink from various stations around the venue.

Tickets are available for purchase now by visiting junglepartyorlando.com. Regular admission tickets are priced at $50 for individuals and $85 for couples, and VIP tickets are $100 per person and $150 for couples. Ticket prices do not include tax.
