El grupo de Joe Jonas tomará control de la playa en Fort Lauderdale
Recientemente, los organizadores de Florida AIDS Walk anunciaron que este año, el grupo DNCE de Joe Jonas será presente para cantar su canción exitosa Cake by the Ocean. El embajador de celebridades es Lamman Rucker, del teleserie Greenleaf. El evento está planeado por el domingo 19 del próximo mes de marzo.
Cada año, miles de participantes de Florida AIDS Walk caminan unos 5KM para juntar fondos para AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF). Todo el dinero queda aquí en la Florida y se usa para porvenir servicios y apoyar los que viven con el VIH/SIDA. Cada participante busca donaciones para la organización y también paga una inscripción de $25.
Generalmente, los participantes forman equipos y cada equipo tiene un capitán que organiza los miembros y los donaciones. Cada equipo tiene una página en el sitio de Florida AIDS Walk donde mantiene información del equipo y sus donaciones. El capitán también mantiene esta página y motiva los otros miembros a buscar donaciones.
Hay regalos para los participantes también. Cada uno recibe una camiseta, pero dependiendo del total de los donaciones que uno recibe, el regalo se mejora. El equipo más grande y el que recibe más donaciones reciben una tienda después de la caminata para el concierto, y también servicio VIP durante el proceso de inscripción el día del evento.

Recently, the organizers of Florida AIDS Walk announced that this year DNCE, and front man Joe Jonas will perform after the annual fundraiser walk. Also the Celebrity Ambassador will be Lamman Rucker from the hit show Greenleaf on the OWN network. The event is planned to take place on Sunday, March 19.
Each year, thousands of participants take to the street on the beach in Fort Lauderdale for the 5K race that raises money for AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF). All of the money raised stays here in Florida and is used to provide services for and to help support those living with HIV/AIDS. Each participant gets donations and agrees to pay a registration fee of $25.
Usually, participants form teams and each team has a captain who organizes the members and keeps track of donations. Every team has a page on the organization’s website where member info is kept along with a tally of the teams donations. The team captain maintains the web page and motivates team members to get more donations.
There are different gifts that are given to participants. Everyone receives an official T shirt however the organization rewards those who raise certain amounts of money. Also, the biggest team and the team that raise the most money will get a 10 x 10 tent to use during the event and they will receive VIP service for check in the day of the walk.
