Stonewall National Museum & Archives presents the film, Training Rules at their Wilton Manors gallery (2157 Wilton Drive) at 7 p.m. The film depicts the 2006 case involving student athlete Jennifer Harris, who, in conjunction with the National Center for Lesbian Rights, filed charges against Pennsylvania State University and basketball coach Rene Portland for discrimination based on sexual orientation. This lawsuit inspired others whose lives were shattered during Coach Portland’s reign to come forward. The film focuses on these individuals and investigates why organizations, established to protect these athletes have done so little to end this common form of victimization. Free to attend, but there is a suggested donation of $5 with light refreshments served courtesy of Barefoot Wine and Bubbly.

The Art and Culture Center/Hollywood presents the 20th anniversary of “Cuisine for Art” at Hard Rock Live. Noche Latina Florida presents its 19th anniversary at Noche Latina Saturdays inside the Ivy Dance Room and Patio at The Manor. Their 19th anniversary theme is “Noche Erotica” and stars Latin adult video star Fernando Del Rio performing live, Mistress Erika Norell along with her slaves, Angie Ovahness, and erotic sexy Go-Go Papis. The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus closes out its 31st season with a fun-filled concert entitled, “Parks & Recreations,” which is about nature, outdoor fun and maybe even a little “risky business!” The music is always the star of their shows and this one features a variety of favorites — from the Broadway hit “Sunday” from Sunday in the Park with George, to the gospel/country hit “We Shall Be Free,” and everything in between.
