The Event: The SMART Ride Non-Gala Gala
The Date: Friday, June 22 at 8pm (7pm for VIP reception)
The Venue: Pompano Beach Cultural Center (50 W Atlantic Blvd, Pompano Beach)
The Cause: The Non-Gala raises funds to stage the SMART Ride itself, the annual 2-day, 165-mile bike-a-thon from Miami to Key West. The Ride raises money to support local organizations on the front lines, providing services to people living with HIV/AIDS and working to prevent the spread of HIV. SMART Ride 15 is slated for November 16–17 with the goal of raising $1,500,000. To date, the Ride has raised $9,300,000 for direct client care.

The Spread: Cocktails and artistic culinary fare (but no sit-down dinner; hooray!)
