Cabanas Spa Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The Spa at The Cabanas Guesthouse is excited to celebrate their 10^th year of operations during the month of August. Nestled on the grounds of the Cabanas Guesthouse, The Spa has never been busier than this year thanks to their amazing local client base as well as the returning guests at the guesthouse. The Spa at The Cabanas Guesthouse has one goal, to assist the client to either feel great about themselves, or to help them feel better regarding their overall health and well-being. Norman Lachance (owner) continues to strive for customer service and is as always grateful to his long standing returning clients. The experience you will have with Spa Cabanas is always a pleasant one from the moment you contact them on the phone. They will go the extra mile to determine the best placement for the client’s needs whether it is a Manicure-Pedicure or help with an injury or sore muscle.

Norman Lachance, is a native of Quebec City, and is a very talented energetic leader with extensive experience in Spa Management, treatment and new age healing throughout Quebec, Cologne Germany and South Florida. He also has the experience of owning and operating Spa Chateau at the Four Star Chateau Mont Sainte Anne Hotel in Quebec City. Norman made the choice to go to Pavonia and Decleor from Paris for skincare, and he also pursued studies (earning a certification) from Dr. Babor of Germany. His Florida Massage experience has been with Educating Hands in Miami.

“We had the pleasure of meeting Norman over 10 years ago when he frequently visited the Cabanas for vacation. One day in passing, Norman asked us if we have ever thought of opening a Men’s Day Spa at the resort. We jokingly said yes of course but we are not going to do it. Norman explained to us that his was his line of work in Canada and the rest was history. Over the years, our guests and locals have enjoyed the award winning services the spa has to offer. The relationship between the Spa and the Resort has been nothing short of amazing. The Spa prides itself on offering an array of services. They are able to assist the clients with all grooming needs from a full body trim or just certain areas to waxing the ears and nose and everything down to the toes using the best for men’s skin. Their Mani-Pedi’s are very popular due to the fact that they are not only relaxing but a thorough process. The Facials at The Spa are also the best in the area. The Facial Specialist can conduct everything from Micro-needling to Peels to Micro-Dermabrasions. The Anti-Aging Facial is their signature Facial and one of the most popular at The Spa. Brow and Lash Tint has also become a popular treatment with an occasional monthly special.

The LMT’s at The Spa are also proud of the therapeutic and wellness side of the massage process. Whether it’s an injury or relief from a hard workout, the massage Therapist are the best at what they do. The Spas menu includes such massage practices as Hot Stone, Swedish and Deep Tissue to Reiki and Swe-Thai massage. There are five massage therapist all with their own unique style that can help with any issues. The Spa offers anywhere from 30 minute area work to sixty minute massage and ninety minute massage. As an appreciation for return clients, massage packages are available monthly.

Jimmy Cohen has been with the Spa for almost 4 years. Coming to the Spa as a Paramedical Aesthetician, Jimmy has expanded his knowledge of skin care and has a loyal customer base in the Fort Lauderdale area. Jimmy has recently completed a Phlebotomist training program and is a PRP specialist as well as a Micro-needling expert. He is also an LED light Therapy Technician.

Brett Mcanally attended the Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers and has his certification in the field of Electrolysis. He has received training in Galvanic Equipment, Thermolysis and Blend Equipment.

A very strong massage team has made Spa Cabanas reputation one of the best in the area.

: Oscar Gomez

Oscar Gomez LMT has been a member of the Spa Team for years. He was trained by the Educating Hands School Of Massage in Miami. Oscar, a member of a training group called Humanistic Cybernetics, (Psychology for change), at the University of Miami, has also been cross-trained in multiple services.

Mario Martinez LMT has also been with the Team for quite some time. Mario has been licensed since 2009 and is certified in many areas including Reiki, Reflexology, Neuro Muscular Massage and Hot and Cold stone Massage. Mario is well known for being a Holistic Massage Therapist and is popular for his Reiki Massage. Mario is responsible for introducing the Spa to the Bamboo Massage.

: Gabriel Rodriquez

Gabriel Rodriquez LMT. He believes in the traditional massage techniques and stresses the importance of communication with clients. With his training origins in Puerto Rico, he is best known for his Deep Tissue Massage.

: Inigo Valencia

Inigo Valencia LMT received training at the Florida College of Natural Health in Pompano Beach Florida. Originally from Mexico, Inigo develops and proposes client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used.

: Christian Omar Perez Santiago

Christian Omar Perez Santiago LMT. Christian is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association Florida Chapter and was trained at The Academy Of Massage And Bodywork and Goldey Beacom College. As part of the team at Spa Cabanas, he enjoys coordinating The Spa’s operations to make sure clients enjoy a uniquely catered experience. Christian specializes in Deep Tissue massage as well as hot stone massage.

“A few months ago I discovered The Spa at The Cabanas Guesthouse. Luckily, I live in the area and am able to use their services regularly. Upon arriving, Clint at the desk always sets the tone with his warm and friendly welcome. The treatment rooms are peaceful and relaxing and immediately help me de-stress. Clint Bridges has also been a part of The Spa team for many years. He is in charge of the daily operations and works closely with each therapist to make sure the Spa runs smoothly. Making sure that everything works for the client is important from the appointment to their overall satisfaction. A good Therapist/Client relationship is very important and part of his job to make sure this is always the best it can be.
