Jasmine Masters Talks ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ All-Stars Season 4

In week one of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars Season 4, the 10 returning queens were:

Farrah Moan (Season Nine), Gia Gunn (Season Six), Jasmine Masters (Season Seven), Latrice Royale (Season Four and “All Stars” One), Manila Luzon (Season Three and “All Stars” One), Monét X Change (Season Ten), Monique Heart (Season Ten), Naomi Smalls (Season Eight), Trinity Taylor (Season Nine), and Valentina (Season Nine).

For the Mini Challenge the library was opened for the Reading is fundamental iconic challenge, and some of the girls really rose to the top, but in the end, our south Florida star, Latrice Royale, won the challenge and the prize of a $2,500 gift card to L.A. Eyeworks. For the Maxi challenge the girls would be headlining an all star spangled variety show showcasing their best talent for the audience of LGBTQ veterans and active service people. In the end the top two were Monique and Trinity with Jasmine and Farrah on the bottom. Trinity won the Lip synch and sent Jasmine home.

How has your life changed since you were on Drag Race?

It changed for the better of course! It’s been more amazing, because now I can walk down the street and people know who I am. That’s something I have always wanted. I also have traveled the world, and it’s been incredible!

What has been some of your favorite cities to visit as a RPDR alumni?

I can’t remember all of them as I have been to a lot of places I had never heard of. My favorite has to be Adaleya (hope I spelled that correctly), Australia as I was there the longest.

How exciting was it to get called back for All-Stars? Did you consider not coming back, and if so what made you come back?

It was very mind blowing. I never expected to get called. Once I got the call I was never going to turn it down, it was a definite yes!

How did you prepare differently for All-Stars than you did the first time you were on the show?

This time I was more into the moment of being on all stars and not just make a check list. I wanted to be on when I was there, but I ended up being on and off.

You left early on your season and made it count with your videos which have gone viral, what are you going to do to keep your flame lit this time?

Just be myself, have fun. That’s all I can do.

Now that you have been eliminated, who do you want to win?

I really don’t have a person that I can say I want to win. I am just happy for all of us and I am rooting for all of them. I hope we all do something positive for the community and keep a humble mind and heart.

What’s ahead for Jasmine?

I’m working on a one woman show: “Jasmine Masters I Have Something To Say.” I also have a few tours with promoters coming up soon. In addition, I am in the process of doing fundraisers for Autism.
