As always, the evening promises great company, delicious food and drinks, an expansive auction, live entertainment, an awards ceremony, an after-party, and much more! The Gala is much more than a celebration, it’s also an important fundraiser supporting the social justice work of the National LGBTQ Task Force. Proceeds from the 2021 Gala will also support the local LGBTQ Community. The Task Force makes a substantial annual donation to The Miami Foundation’s LGBTQ Community Fund, where like-minded community service organizations are funded through a grant-making process. The event will star Christina Bianco who captured international acclaim as a YouTube sensation with her impression videos, gaining over 25 million views; Kennedy Davenport: RuPaul’s Drag Race season 7 and Ru Paul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 3, where she placed 1st runner up; and Melinda Doolittle: Melinda became a household name during season six of American Idol — she came in third in the voting and Simon Cowell called her his “personal favorite.” For more information, or to purchase tickets, go to: Thetaskforcegala.org.
